“We thought about that years ago, but now I honestly don’t think I would bother throwing a party. It would just be an ad hoc thing, and we couldn’t be a *****,” she said in an interview.

“I think part of the reason we’re still together is because we had a dilapidated wedding anyway.”

Announced last month, the film shows Simon rose to fame as part of the new wave band Duran Duran, along with keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor.

The commercially successful lineup previously consisted of guitarist and Andy Taylor, who left the band in 1986, and there have been many more band member changes over the years.

Duran Duran was considered one of the most successful bands of the 1980s and has seen their success cross over the past three decades.

Formed in Birmingham in 1978, the group had 14 top 10 singles in the UK Singles Chart, 21 singles in the US Billboard Hot 100 and has sold over 100 million records worldwide.

Last week, Simon revealed that during their heyday in the 1980s, the band would order drugs through the hotel’s room service.

Speaking on Alan Carr’s podcast Life’s A Beach on Monday, Simon revealed that the band would order “fabrics on room service” while partying at the Sunset Marquis in Los Angeles.

The Save a Prayer artist went on to say that things “changed quickly” when he married model Yasmin, née Parvaneh, in 1985 and his hard parties were a thing of the past.

Yasmin was one of the highest earning models in the 1980s, appearing on the covers of about 300 magazines around the world, including the first issues of British and American Elle and three issues of Italian Vogue.

In addition to her great career, she has built a happy family life in South West London with Simon – whom she met in 1985 after he photographed her during a photo shoot and asked for her number.

In an earlier interview, Yasmin said that having a lasting marriage, a successful career, and three daughters comes at a cost — with friends who often fall by the wayside.

“I’ve had to accept that if you work, travel and have a family, you can’t maintain friendships. Anyone who thinks they can do it without driving themselves into the ground is wrong,” she told Easy Living magazine this month. “Someday friends will realize why you couldn’t be there all the time.”
