One woman who took an herbal supplement to breastfeed her fiancé said she feels “sexier with her milk back” — but insisted critics are wrong when they claim they sexualize “breastfeeding.”
Lana Michaels, who is originally from Edinburgh but now lives in Spain with her partner, Shawn, appeared on This Morning today to discuss her decision to breastfeed and breastfeed her fiancé twice a week.
The mum of two recalled how she originally wanted to breastfeed again to feel “sexier and more feminine” and thought Shawn would “help suckle her 34D breasts.”
The couple, who appeared in Channel 4’s documentary Breastfeeding My Boyfriend last week, said they felt a “really cool connection” from the act and that it felt “completely natural and normal”.
But co-host Holly Willoughby explained that critics have suggested the couple is sexualizing breastfeeding, and even Shawn’s parents wouldn’t fully support it.

Lana recalls meeting Shawn on a vegan dating app and said, “It was so special. I traveled by plane to meet him for the first time and I normally wouldn’t.’
Speaking about her decision to take herbal milk supplements, Lana said, “I just wanted my milk back because I’ve always felt sexier and more feminine with my milk, and I thought Shawn would help suckle it.”
Shawn said, “When we started, it felt a little different. Obviously, it’s not something everyone does. Being really open minded we just tried it and it felt normal and very natural and the connecting connection you get from it is amazing.
However, Holly suggested that critics were annoyed at the duo for sexualizing breastfeeding.
Lana answered quickly and said, “I know where they come from, but I think breastfeeding doesn’t sexualize because breasts have generally always been sexualized.

“That’s why we usually cover them up, so they’ve always been. [And] Breastfeeding in public is now much more accepted than it used to be.’
Lana said her family “really accepts and supports it,” while Shawn admitted his family is “coming in.”
“They’ll get there, the idea has to mature, and I think these kinds of interviews will help us normalize the situation,” he said.
Lana said she’s had a positive response since the documentary aired, saying, “A lot of people have said they wish they were more open. They find it difficult to talk about wanting to do it.

‘Many women have contacted us to see how we can get the process started. They realize that this is also something they want to do.’
Co-host Philip Schofield asked the couple if they used Lana’s breast milk for “cornflakes or in coffee,” to which Shawn replied, “It just goes right in my mouth.”
Three days after taking the health supplement, the first drop of milk appeared in front of Lana – and Shawn then grabbed to get the liquid flowing. The couple previously praised their breastfeeding habit for its nutritional value.
“I’ve been breastfeeding my kids and I’ve really missed breastfeeding and the feeling of it,” she explained in a conversation with The sun. “I don’t want another baby and my kids are way too old to feed now, but I liked the idea of breastfeeding with Shawn.”

The experimental couple, who first toyed with the idea after a foursome with another couple, also claimed it builds positive “physical energy” between them before it gets steamy in the bedroom.
Lana, who breastfed her eldest son, 11, for eight months and daughter, seven, for two years, said she’s gone from a 34C to a 34D since breastfeeding her fiancé.
The couple, who have sex five times a week, went on to explain how they have an open relationship and “like to try new things” when it comes to the bedroom.
“I was sucking another woman when I started to feel milk in my mouth,” Shaun explained. “That burned the sexual idea of breast milk in connection with sex and it went from there.”

Lana said breastfeeding not only makes her breast “fuller and bigger,” but also helps her feel “sexier and more feminine” when she’s filled with milk.
But for Shawn, he finds the process “relaxing” and said it’s perfect if he “craves” some form of physical connection.
The couple, who insisted they got “really good comments” about their breastfeeding habits, said they’re not “weird” about enjoying adult breastfeeding — with Shawn adding that he “don’t care if it’s not normal.” because it makes them happy.
He added: ‘I think breastfeeding as adults is still seen as taboo because we assume adults shouldn’t. They think it may not be necessary, but the milk is really nutritious and it was made for us. I really like Lana’s milk.’
