A Texas woman captured the dramatic moment when she confronted a man who had allegedly been harassing her at the gym for months.
Chelsie Gleason, known on TikTok as @justchesslee, recorded at her local Crunch Fitness that she was lifting dumbbells when the man started circling her and making comments while trying to ignore him.
“Being a woman is fun,” she wrote at the video, which has been viewed more than 33.5 million times in less than a week.
Trouble: Chelsie Gleason, known as @justchesslee on TikTok, filmed her lifting dumbbells at her local Crunch Fitness when a man started harassing her
Scary: Gleason jumped away when he got close to her face and yelled, “Don’t come near me!”
The gym-goer was doing bicep curls in the mirror when the man came up to her and started talking about changing his girlfriend’s personality.
“I was just trying to find out when this is happening… I’ve never met this guy and he’s been harassing me for months,” she said using the app’s text-to-speech feature.
“This time I kept my headphones in and tried to ignore them.”
The man seemed to be walking away, but then he came back and approached her from behind. Gleason jumped away when he came close to her face and yelled, “Don’t come near me!”
The video has garnered nearly 50,000 comments and many people insisted that she show the footage to gym staff.
Retired personal trainer here, show this video to the staff! Trust me, they DO NOT want this in their gym!’ one person wrote.
“You should tell the front desk right away,” someone else added. “You have video evidence and they will revoke his membership.”

Others praised her for standing up for herself, with one TikTok user commenting that this is “real strength.”
“He’s been found and banished!” Gleason later shared in the comments. “Thanks for all the help @CrunchFitness.”
The TikToker filmed two follow-up videos in which she opened up about the man’s alleged harassment and said he had already been in trouble for stalking another woman.
“I just want to start and say that all the staff at the gym I go to are really great. They were really, really helpful to me,” she said, explaining that the man seemed like a “random nice guy” at first.
She remembered how he would come up to people and talk to them at the gym, including herself, but then his behavior became more worrisome.
“After weeks and weeks and weeks of this happening, you know, it started to get a little weird,” she said. ‘Like why is he coming to me? I already told him, “Leave me alone.”‘
According to Gleason, he would talk about strange conspiracies, saying that black vans followed him, that people’s personalities were changed. He also claimed that Taylor Swift was going to have his baby.
“Obviously he’s not all here,” she said, noting that it would take about two months.

Terrifying: According to Gleason, he was arrested when he tried to get back to Crunch Fitness, and police learned that “he had already issued a warrant for stalking another girl”
Although the staff was aware, he didn’t do anything threatening at first. However, Gleason said she had a “really awful interaction with him” a few weeks ago.
She was training with some of her girlfriends when he approached them. She told him to leave them alone, prompting him to get on the defensive. He would have called her ‘crazy’ and a ‘b***h’.
“He would follow me around parts of the gym, make weird comments, harass me,” she explained.
The bullying got so bad that her “gymbros” would take her to her car to make sure she got there safely. If no one was around, an employee would escort her.
Gleason said the man was “banned” from the fitness center after her video went viral, but he was still trying to get back.
“When I went to the gym last night, they told me he was trying to come back and the police were called,” she said. “He was arrested and they found out that he had already issued a warrant for stalking another girl.”
A number of commentators warned her to get a restraining order against the man, claiming that jail time wouldn’t stop him from going after her.
“I worked in law enforcement for 15 years. Request a restraining order and ALWAYS be mindful of your surroundings when you leave the gym,” one person wrote, while another added: “Place a restraining order. Because he’ll be released pretty soon.’
“Be careful out there. Stalkers don’t just stop. Get that proposed restraining order,’ someone else agreed.
