Before Christina Caldwellarrival, the then pregnant star and her husband, Joe Duggar, “Walked three or four miles down the corridors” from the hospital experiencing “quite a few painful contractions” and “sharp pains.” Kendra recalled, “I really had to breathe through it.”
The Virginia native decided she felt best to lie down and was “confused” when her water broke. “I was in so much pain, I was lying down and I just didn’t think it would break if I was lying down,” she explained. “I’ve never had that experience before and it was a lot of pain at the time.”
After half an hour, Kendra’s mother arrived and coached her daughter through the rest of her contractions. She was experiencing nausea at the time and said to her husband, 25, “I don’t think I can.”
However, their daughter arrived ‘quickly’. When Kendra and Joe welcomed their daughter in November 2019, the Count on exclusively told stars U.S at the time: “Addison Renee made us a family of four and we are so in love with her already! They [was born] in the early hours of the morning and our hearts have already melted. We know that Garrett is going to be a great big brother. Children are each a special gift from God and we are so happy that our newest blessing is here. ‘
The news came seven months after the TLC personalities, who also share son Garrett, 2, announced they had another little one on the way. “We are ready to double the fun in our house!” the reality stars told exclusively U.S in April 2019.
Kendra and the 19 Children and counting alum married in Arkansas in September 2017.
