Former Scotland and Rangers coach Walter Smith, who won 10 league titles in two stints at Ibrox, has died at 73.
Walter Smith, a former Rangers and Scotland manager, has died at 73, his former club has announced.
Smith is one of the most important figures in Ibrox history, winning 10 league titles as a coach in two stints, including seven in a row to achieve the clubs’ historic nine straight streak.
In a statement on the Rangers’ official website, the club wrote: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our former club coach, president and legend, Walter Smith.”
