Thanks to Kieffer Moore, Wales avoided the worst possible start to their Euro 2020 campaign this afternoon against Switzerland.
In their Group A opening in Baku, Robert Page’s team was held to a 1-1 tie.
Breel Emobolo’s 49th-minute header put the Swiss on course to win all three points.
But, due to a perfectly-placed header from Moore in the 75th minute, Page’s team got back on equal terms.
Embolo came close to crushing Welsh hearts with another header in the 89th minute
Danny Ward of Leicester City made a stunning save to deny the Swiss a last-gasp victory.
On Wednesday afternoon, Wales will face Turkey, who are now at the bottom of Group A after a 3-0 loss to Italy.
