ORLANDO, Fla. – On the same day that the parks reopened to the public, Universal Orlando announced new benefits for its annual pass holders.
The new benefits include special pass holder lines and exclusive events. From June 8 to July 5, pass holders can enter the toll plaza via special lanes marked with “UOAP” signs. Universal said pass holders will also have their own special security strip during this time. Passers-by must show their passes along with a photo ID.
Universal is also returning special pass holder access to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The entrance, which is marked with the signs “UOAP”, is only available during the regular opening hours of the amusement park.
Universal has announced that it will hold special Passholder Valuation Days from August 30 through September 30. Additional details will be released at a later date, but in the past, Valuation Days included exclusive after-hours events in the parks.
Other benefits include free monthly pass holder buttons, free pass holder magnets, and discounts on food and merchandise.
Universal theme parks will be closed in mid-March in response to the coronavirus pandemic. With the reopening, a number of new health and safety measures have been implemented, including mandatory face masks and temperature controls.
