The move from Tottenham to Udogie is bad news for Sergio Reguilon, who has been told by the club that he could leave this summer.
The Spaniard has been left out of Conte’s squad for the new season, along with Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks.
Meanwhile, the arrival of Udogie at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of seven new faces at the club this summer.

Conte is looking for a team that can compete with Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Djed Spence, Clement Lenglet and Fraser Forster have also been recruited, and some interest remains in Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
Conte’s signings appear to have helped the side as they won their first Premier League game of the 2022-2023 season against Southampton 4-1.
