Tyson Fury will retire from boxing in the next two years, according to his wife Paris.

The 33-year-old recently retained his world heavyweight titles earlier in the month, when he defeated Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight in the USA.

Fury feels he still has a lot to accomplish in the division, and has set his sights on a unification fight, originally with Anthony Joshua before his British teammate lost his titles to Oleksandr Usyk.

But the Gypsy King will be looking for his chance at unification sooner rather than later, with the suggestion that he may be looking to finish his career in the next few years.

I think by itself, I think it will do it for a few more years. Now he is 33 years old, I think until 35, ” he said in an interview with talkSPORT.

‘I know that Wladimir (Klitschko) and other men have made it to 40, but do you keep going until you lose?

‘I don’t know, I wouldn’t want to see that from Tyson. I wouldn’t want it to go ahead.

There is always going to be someone younger and fresher if you are on the hill, if you have gone too far.

“ I think another two or three years and Tyson should definitely hang up his gloves and finish. ”

There are plenty of options for Fury as to who his next opponent is, with contenders Dillian Whyte and Usyk.

Usyk recently targeted the 33-year-old in an interview, insisting that he could beat the 6-foot-9 behemoth.

When asked if he could watch a fight with Fury later, Usyk said Sun: ‘Yes, of course, I consider this fight to be huge. I see him as a very good fighter, a good athlete, he speaks a lot, he has a language.

He says he is the king of kings, but only he thinks that. That’s what I can say about him.
