President Donald Trump Gallup claimed to give him “the highest rating ever” for the way he handles the corona virus on Thursday, despite the fact that the results came from a study conducted at the beginning of February.
“Gallup just gave us the highest rating ever for the way we handle the CoronaVirus situation,” Trump posted on Twitter. “The Mexican flu of April 2009-10, in which nearly 13,000 people died in the US, was treated badly. Ask MSDNC & lightweight Washington failure @ Ronaldaldlain, who the president was then? “

The Gallup poll that appeared to be President Trump was published two weeks ago and based on results from early February.

In the February poll, 77 percent of those surveyed felt somewhat convinced of the US government’s ability to tackle the corona virus.
This was higher than the Zika virus in 2017 (64 percent), the Ebola virus in 2014 (58 percent), Mexican flu in 2009 (67 percent) and bird flu in 2005 (54 percent).
However, these results are from early February “just a few days after the Trump government announced it would suspend aliens’ access to the US among those who had traveled to China in the last two weeks,” as noted by Gallup.
No American had died of the corona virus within the borders of the United States at the time, and since then the corona virus has spread been to New York City confirmed caused a state of emergency in California in at least seventeen states, and murdered 11 people – 10 in Washington State and 1 in California.
A more recent one survey this month shows that the majority of Americans are concerned about the impact of the corona virus on the United States and “strongly disapprove of the administration’s response.”
“With a margin of 20 points, voters say his administration is handling the virus, making them less likely to vote for him this fall,” Polling said. “Independent parties say they are less likely to vote 32 points for Trump because of the way he handles this issue.”
“Only 37% of voters agree with Trump’s assessment that his administration is doing a” great job “on coronavirus, while 53% disagree,” the poll revealed, while many Americans agree worry about whether a coronavirus vaccine will be affordable.
