Tottenham football CEO Fabio Paratici says he and Antonio Conte have not talked about transfers and trust the players they currently have.
The former Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan coach replaced Nuno Espirito Santo on Tuesday, after signing an 18-month contract with the club.
He has been tasked with reversing the fortunes of Tottenham, which currently ranks ninth in the Premier League table.

The Spurs will face Vitesse in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, and it was Paratici who spoke to the media to advance the game, rather than Conte.
Paratici was asked if he had spoken to Conte about transfers and if the intention was to bring in players during the January transfer window.
He replied: ‘Not at all, because we trust our players. We trust a lot. So we are focused on improving as a club, as a team. ‘

We have everything to achieve: infrastructure, great club, players, history, great fans. We are here to improve. ‘
