Tottenham are reportedly set to fight Bayern Munich for Nantes striker Randal Kolo Muani.

The 22-year-old who scored nine league goals for the Ligue 1 team last season is in the final year of his contract and can talk to clubs about a pre-contract on January 1.

Kolo Muani, who represented France at the Tokyo Olympics, is expected not to renew his contract with the club.

Kolo Muani broke into the Nantes squad last season playing all but one in Ligue 1.

So far this season, he has played ten games with the team scoring two goals and providing three assists.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has compared the player to his former Gunner teammate, Nwankwo Kanu.

He made the comparison after a goal the forward scored for Nantes during the 4-1 win over Angers in September during Amazon Prime’s coverage of the game in France.
