The Xbox Series X-shaped refrigerator will arrive in Spain: what started as a viral meme has become reality

When the Xbox Series X saw the light there were not few the memes and jokes about its resemblance to a refrigerator (with PlayStation 5 they did not fall short either). From Microsoft they took the jokes with sympathy, to the point that they threw a real refrigerator to some youtubers and singers.

The joke did not stop there. Shortly after, Microsoft announced that this meme would come true, but on a small scale. The Xbox Series X-shaped mini fridge was to be officially produced and today we have learned that, indeed, it will be launched in Spain.

Getting the console is tricky, but at least we have a fridge

As explained by the company, this mini fridge has been created in collaboration with Ukonic! It has LED lights and its surface has been designed to look like an Xbox Series X. It is not a console, but it does do something that the Xbox does not: cool cans.

It is a huge black tower and has holds up to 12 beverage cans. As if that were not enough, it also has a USB port on the front, so it will be used to charge mobile phones.

And how much will it cost? Where can you buy it? Microsoft has confirmed that the first batch will be available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, The Netherlands and Poland. Its availability is expected to expand to more markets in 2022.

As far as Spain is concerned, the refrigerator will be available for 99 euros via Game Stop EU, Micromania and Toynk via Amazon. The pre-sale will begin on October 19 and from the company they assure that it will reach several retailers and retailers around the world in December 2021.
