The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G leaks: the next Fan Edition aims to be a high-end with the design of the Galaxy S21
When Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) it announced that it would not be the only terminal in this category. Proof of this is the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G and the filtering to satiety Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G.
The device has already been seen on occasion, but the most recent leak has been in the google console, which could be indicative that its launch could be relatively close.
What we know about the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has been leaked several times. It appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification, on TENAA, Evan Blass (aka EvLeaks) leaked it in 3D renders (like the one right above these lines), it appeared on Geekbench and now has been seen in the Google console.
Basically, we can get a pretty rough idea of what this new terminal will be. To put some context, the Galaxy Fan Edition They are reviews of the high-end models, but at more moderate prices. In the case that concerns us today, the first section in which we can see it is in the design.
The Galaxy S21 stand out for having a rather peculiar camera module, integrated into the chassis itself and occupying the entire upper left corner. For the renders published by Evan Blass, it seems that the Galaxy S21 FE will maintain these design lines, but will bet on a chassis of the same color. Depending on the filter, it will be available in white, blue, gray, green and purple.
On the other hand, the screen will have a FullHD + resolution (unknown size) perforated in the upper area to make room for the front camera. There is no mention of the refresh rate, but it would not be unreasonable to think of 90 or 120 Hz seeing that the high-end models have such technology. It is yet to be seen.
As for the components, the Google console suggests that it will have 6 GB of RAM and the Qualcomm SM8350 processor, which is the code name for the Snapdragon 888 (not the Plus, but the standard). This processor has one core at 2.8 GHz, three at 2.4 GHz and four at 1.8 GHz, as well as a GPU Adreno 660.
Otherwise, the device will have Android 11 (and surely One UI) as an operating system and 4,370 mAh battery (according to TENAA). There is no news about its release date, but seeing that the terminal has been leaked so much and in the Google console, it is expected that it will arrive sooner rather than later. We will have to wait.
