Titled “My First Time Down the Rabbit Hole in Kmart,” the video shows Kaymie picking up almost everything except socks.

The video opens with the young teacher promising her husband that she “won’t be long” after she decides to enter the popular store.

But five seconds later, her facial expression changes when she sees nice clothes.

She then acts by going through the household goods section.

“I absolutely need these candles,” she says, tucking them under her arm.

“I totally need Tupperware, such a good deal,” she said, reaching for plastic containers.

She then showed her confusion in finding the cash registers in the middle of the store rather than at the exit.

When she checked out, she revealed that she didn’t buy the socks she went in for in the first place.

The cheeky video seemed like a hit with her audience as it quickly went viral.

“It still confuses me why we pay in the middle of the store,” said one woman.

Others joked that the young woman would soon be joining the Kmart Hacks Facebook page, which is popular with shoppers.

“The special buys in Aldi are even worse, you get an arc welder or something else you never need,” said another.

Some people joked that the Kmart experience in the video isn’t unique to Americans shopping at Kmart, that Australians go down the rabbit hole the same way.

“The Kmart experience is truly universal,” one woman laughed.
