Sheffield United midfielder John Fleck rushed to the hospital by ambulance after collapsing and receiving 10 minutes of urgent medical attention on the court during his Championship match with Reading.

The Blades were leading 1-0 thanks to Jayden Bogle’s goal in the 56th minute when Fleck collapsed on the field. His teammates called for medical assistance immediately.
The 30 year old He received 10 minutes of urgent medical treatment on the Madejski stadium court Tuesday night before being transferred to the hospital.
Sky Sports News reported that Fleck ‘was able to stand with the help of an oxygen mask’ and was ‘conscious’ when he left the stadium.
While the official Sheffield United Twitter account confirmed that the midfielder was conscious when he left the stadium and wished him the best in his recovery.
The club tweeted saying: ‘Regarding the times when urgent medical attention is needed for John Fleck.
“The game has yet to restart, but the Scottish midfielder is on his feet and receiving more medical attention.
Fleck leaves the field on a stretcher after receiving urgent medical attention. Our thoughts are with you, Flecky!
A statement from South Yorkshire Police added: ‘From what we have been told, John Fleck is alert and communicating with emergency services personnel after the horrific incident.
‘Fingers crossed for a full recovery.’
