Do what’s best for her. Scheana Shay wants to take her time before trying to get pregnant again after her miscarriage.
In a question and answer session for her Podcast ‘Scheananigans with Scheana Shay’, 35-year-old Bravolebrity opened when she planned to restart the conception process with her boyfriend Brock Davies.
Many people have asked, such as, “Oh, are you going to try again?” “As much as I’m at the point where my doctor said I got permission, if I want and my body is ready, I think we’ll hold it off a bit,” she said on Friday, July 31, episode. “We’re in no rush, you know. It wasn’t planned.”
Shay continued, “It was a wonderful miracle, and if it worked, we would have been happy. But unfortunately it didn’t and at the moment we’re moving to a new place. I mean, what if we dislike the area we live in? What if we don’t feel safe? What if you know we start filming[[[[Vanderpump rules again]in a month? ‘
The reality star said there is “so much in the air right now,” she says, “it’s better to wait a little bit” until the timing is right. She also pointed out that it would be a “smart decision” to list work-related efforts, especially since some of her projects “travel and require certain activities” that she couldn’t do when she was pregnant.
“We’re not trying, we’re just like you know what? When it happens, it happens, “she explained. “But we’re careful because I just think it’s our first step to settle in the new place and find out what’s going on with work.”
Shay has long spoken about her fertility struggle. In late June, she revealed that she had a miscarriage after a “miraculous” pregnancy with Davies. The couple discovered that they were pregnant after celebrating Davies’ birthday the same month. Although she planned to tell her father the good news over Father’s Day weekend, she continued to bleed.
Shay stopped bleeding after being put on progesterone supplements. She also did her own research, which helped her “hold on to that little bit of hope.” Later, however, they learned during an ultrasound that the baby’s heartbeat was not detected.
“There were parts where he could see where [the fetus] started to form and it just didn’t happen, ”she said at the time. So clearly, [it was] just devastating. We were so excited. Get excited for a few weeks and then it’s gone so quickly. It is still much to process. ‘
