Monday Night Football is back and so is Russell Wilson in Seattle. The quarterback has already made his debut with the Denver Broncos without even throwing a pass when he came to his former home stadium in a mint green tuxedo.
The 33-year-old completed his chic look with a black bow tie and looked cooped up as he passed through security at Lumen Field ahead of the league’s first Monday Night Football showdown.
Wilson, a man on a mission against his old team, is desperate to jump-start his Broncos career after some of his former Seahawks teammates accused him of “checking out” midway through last season.

He even shared photos of himself in his Dolce & Gabbana suit with a “003” caption that references James Bond’s “007” title.
The ex-North Carolina State player was the only member of his new team to step off the bus in formal attire, while other Broncos showed up in regular competition attire.
NFL fans and several sports-related Twitter accounts were divided over Wilson’s outfit, as some chose to mock it, while others praised the quarterback’s style.

Meanwhile, fans compared the star’s look to a wedding suit or a cruise ship entertainer.
One wrote: “Russell Wilson, who looked like the suit he had brought for the trip, was thrown into the mud and the only place open was the wedding shop.”
Another wrote on Twitter: ‘Russell Wilson came to the game with a bow tie because of course he did lol. His suit looked like something the musical entertainment on a cruise ship would wear.’

In March, Seahawks chairman Jody Allen revealed that Wilson had started a trade to the Broncos after the quarterback failed to digest the franchise that sacked offensive line coach Mike Solari and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.
The Super Bowl XLVIII champion fired back at Allen, saying the trade was mutual. He also signed a five-year, $245 million off-season extension with the Broncos last week.
The Seahawks’ home opener against the Broncos kicked off Monday night at 8:15 p.m. ET at Lumen Field, with Denver and Wilson looking for revenge.
