Gifford, who cohosted Live with Regis and Kathie Lee from 1988 to 2001 revealed that she saw him and his wife, Joy, two weeks ago.
“After they left [my place in Tennessee], I thought to myself, “Lord, is that the last time I see my friend?” Because he failed, I could see it, “Gifford recalled on the website Today show on Monday. “Of course I called then. I don’t know, something recently told me when I was in Tennessee, “Get on the plane and go home. Get on an airplane. “I didn’t know why, but I had learned to listen to that voice. … I got on the plane, came home and immediately heard the news about Regis. [I] immediately called Joy and spoke to her. Yesterday I drove to her house with a large bowl of frutti di mare and every wine I had to give to her and the girls. ‘
