Jamie Carragher has joked about the awkward moment he was snubbed by his ‘good buddy’ Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Manchester United’s win over Liverpool on Monday.
The Red Devils striker interrupted Sky Sports coverage along the pitch, greeting former teammates Roy Keane and Gary Neville, before ignoring Carragher.
The incident happened when substitute Ronaldo came to the experts, with Keane saying: ‘We need to see him out there doing his best.’
