Raphael Varane returned to full training on Wednesday morning to give Manchester United a welcome boost before Saturday’s game with Tottenham.
The Red Devils will head into their Premier League encounter with Spurs looking to prove themselves after suffering a humiliating 5-0 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Varane was out of United’s game against Liverpool after sustaining a quadriceps injury while off international duty with France earlier this month.

Varane’s injury took place in the first half of France’s match with Spain earlier this month. The Manchester United defender grimaced as he lengthened his stride and cut a low cross from Gavi five minutes before half-time.
It seemed harmless, but the United center midfielder immediately signaled to the bench as he sat on the ground asking for treatment.

The injury was a substantial blow to Manchester United, considering they paid £ 40 million to obtain their services from Real Madrid over the summer.
However, the Red Devils have received a timely boost ahead of their clash with Tottenham this weekend, as Varane returned to full training.
The Frenchman was seen bonding with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the club’s training ground.
Varane also participated in various drills. However, it has yet to be determined whether Varane will be fit enough to face Tottenham on Saturday, having missed United’s previous two games against Liverpool and Leicester.

Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire were also among those taking part in Wednesday morning’s session.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer, who was seen for the first time since Liverpool’s humiliation, led the session.
The United manager was seen giving instructions to help the Red Devils rediscover their best form before their confrontation with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.
Solskjaer will be hopeful that his wisdom will rub off on the players, as many believe that Saturday’s game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be the deciding factor in his staying at the club.
Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire were also among the photographers who participated in the session.
