Queen Letizia showed her fashion talent again when she joined her husband, King Felipe VI, as they kicked off their two-day state visit to Sweden with a lavish reception.

The royal couple arrived at the residence of the Embassy of Spain on Tuesday to speak with Spanish residents living in the country.

Mother of two Letizia, 49, wore an asymmetrical white dress with snake print shoes and a matching clutch bag, while Felipe, 53, looked similarly groomed for the visit in response to an invitation from the King of Sweden.

The trip comes less than a week after the couple held a glittering state banquet in honor of Italian President Sergio Mattarella’s visit to Spain.

Today Letizia opted for an elegant white dress with a cinched waist to emphasize her enviable figure.

The mother of two completed the look by wearing her shiny dark brown hair parted in the middle.

She paired it with earrings from Karen Hallam, heels and clutch from the Spanish brand Magrit.

King Felipe paired a black suit with a red tie and an off-white shirt for an equally dashing look.

Traveling from Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport, the Spanish royal family was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Science and Innovation and the Secretary of State for Trade.

Later, they arrived at the residence of the Embassy of Spain in Sweden, where Felipe addressed the Spanish residents and said: ‘All of you, those who have been here longer and those who are still looking for your place in this new host country, we want to send you a message of support, as you represent much of the best of our country beyond our borders.’

He added: ‘We are sure that you will show not only your work ability and dedication, but also your tenacity and resourcefulness, as well as your excellent education.’

Sweden’s Hispanic community has grown steadily over the past decade, reaching 37.12 percent in five years, as Spaniards emigrate to take advantage of employment opportunities.

Letizia and Felipe are expected to attend an official welcome ceremony tomorrow at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.

The busy day also includes a visit to the Nobel Museum where they exhibit ‘Synapse. Art and Science of Spain. From Ramón y Cajal to our time.’

This is then followed by a visit to the Parliament of Sweden and a dinner that the King of Sweden holds in their honor.

Their busy state tour is expected to end on Thursday, following a series of engagements, including a lunch offered by the Citizens Council president and the mayor of Stockholm in their honor.
