Two sisters who were pregnant at the same time recreated an adorable childhood photo of them with balloons in their dresses.
Bri Dietz, 35, and her sister Chaulet Barba, 33, of San Diego, were ecstatic to find out they were getting pregnant at the same time.
Bri immediately recalled taking a photo when the two were just four and six years old pretending to be pregnant with balloon bumps.
And after Bri gave birth to her daughter Goldie Dietz, now two, and Chaulet gave birth to one-year-old Gemma Barba a few months later, the two cousins posed in a photo identical to their mother’s.
Bri called the statue “a dream come true” and said: “Not only did it feel like it came full circle when I played it as a kid, but it also felt like a special sister moment.”

Bri and Chaulet were very close growing up, playing dolls and pretending to be mothers, and even now they talk on the phone every day.
“We chose to share a single bed every night, even though we each had our own beds,” says Bri.
Already four months pregnant with her third daughter with husband Bobby, 35, she discovered Chaulet was pregnant just minutes after taking the test.
Sister Chaulet lives in Walnut Creek, about a seven-hour drive from her sister, but they both knew they had to recreate that one funny photo from their childhood.

Bri said, “When we found out we were pregnant together, I said, ‘Do you remember that picture?’
“It popped up in my brain right away, probably 25 years later and I still remember it!
“She dug around everywhere and found it and I was so excited about it, I thought it would be the cutest thing.”
Bri knew that moment had to be recreated – so when they both had sporty bumps, they took a photo to match.
Bri said recreating the image with her sister and their children was ‘a dream come true’ (pictured together)
She said, “We had the curlers in our hair, which was a 1990 product!”
Bri gave birth to Goldie Dietz on October 6, 2019 and Chaulet gave birth to Gemma Barba on January 25, 2020.
To complete the set, the two cousins posed in a photo identical to their mother’s – with balloons under their nightgowns.
Instagram influencer Bri said: “It was so special to go through it together. It was actually a dream come true.
“Not only did playing that as a kid come full circle, but it also felt like a special sister moment.

“We were lucky to have had the chance to recreate that.”
The little girls are now as close as their mothers and love to play with their dolls too.
Mother of three Bri said, “So many girls can empathize with that sweet childhood where you innocently play with your siblings.
“I hope people remember those happy times when you were in this little world of your own with your siblings, and we can’t replicate that now in our busy daily lives.”
‘But that bond and that core is always there between us.
“Even though we live seven hours away, the foundation of our relationship now all these years later is still there, even into our thirties.”
