Pedestrian admitted to hospital after being hit by car in Belfast

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Belfast.

The incident happened at the intersection of Donegall Road and Rodney Parade on Friday evening.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on the spot and has since been released on bail pending further police investigations.

The male pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where he stayed on Saturday evening.

PSNI inspector David McBride said, “I would appeal to anyone who traveled on Donegall Road last night, Friday, July 24 between 10:10 PM and 10:30 PM, who has recorded footage of this incident in a dash cam to contact the law enforcement.
