All over it. The Real Housewives of Potomacs Monique Samuels has no interest in friendship with her costar Candiace Dillard Bassett after their eruption fight. When asked about the likelihood of reconciliation, Samuels said it is “absolutely not” a possibility.
“I’m all set,” said 36-year-old Bravolebrity Us weekly“Get realistic with the housewives” podcast on Friday, July 31. “One thing I often hear people say is,” If someone shows you who they are, believe them. ” And I believe her. It’s just not my cup of tea. ‘
Samuels continued, “Even if you go back to season 4 when I even found out on the farm with the whole ‘I’ll get you pregnant, and everything’ comment, … at that point I realized Candiace is a person who is yes want people around her. “
The blogger said 33-year-old Dillard Bassett only wants people who “ pamper her and tell her everything she’s doing is okay and it’s okay. ” Samuels, in turn, claimed that she is “not that person” who would encourage such behavior.
“I’ve always learned that a true friend confirms, confronts and celebrates. You have to do all three, ”she explained. ‘[When] we come to a point where there is confrontation and you cannot handle it and you cannot be held accountable for your actions or how you made someone feel, that is a problem. And if you don’t want to make those changes, we’ll never be friends. ‘
In RHOPOn the upcoming 5th season, the brewing tension between Samuels and Dillard Bassett hits a high when the pair have a physical altercation. “Every time you get physical, it takes it to a completely different level. That’s real life, ”she explained. “I brought that with me [moment] very serious, because I haven’t had a physical fight since I was in elementary school. I am 36 years old. I have three children and a whole man. So I’m like, “This is insane.” It allowed me to go on a journey by just looking at certain things from childhood or just trying to figure out what my triggers are. ”
