NHL Matches Today: Full TV program to restart the 2020 season on Saturday, Sunday

Time for a little hot ice.

July hockey isn’t something many people expected to see in 2020, but that’s where we are this year. After the NHL suspended the game in mid-March and some minor labor disputes, some did not expect hockey to return this year, but after four months gone the hunt for Lord Stanley’s Cup is back, and in a big, entertaining way.

The NHL schedule kicks off again on August 1, with 24 teams jockeying for both spots and positioning for the Stanley Cup 2019-20 playoffs. The top four teams in each conference play round-robin style to determine seeding, while the remaining eight teams in each conference compete to advance to a best-of-seven series.

The preliminary round of the Stanley Cup starts on Saturday August 1 with eight best-of-five series.

Here’s a complete TV schedule for the first two days of NHL games during the restart of the 2020 season, including start times and channels for the national broadcasts on Saturday and Sunday.
