Anyone tired of seeing Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin dominate in the NASCAR Cup Series races in 2020 can be disappointed at Sunday’s race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the only event on NASCAR’s track.
Harvick, the points leader and winner of four races this season, has won the last two NASCAR Cup Series races in New Hampshire. Last year he won this race when he drove Hamlin on the last corner of the Magic Mile.
Hamlin, who has won a series of high five Cup races in 2020, is statistically the best driver in the flat, 1-mile oval in Loudon, NH, but Harvick was considered the favorite to win Sunday’s race . So there is a fair chance that both drivers will be contenders in the final laps of Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 on Sunday.

The green flag for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race in New Hampshire will be waving at 3.18pm ET, assuming there are no rain delays as there have been so many times since NASCAR went live racing again in May.
While NASCAR has plenty of time to get the race in while the sun doesn’t set in Loudon until shortly after 8 p.m. ET, the relatively late start time for a mid-race is notable because New Hampshire Motor Speedway has no lights.
It’s worth noting that the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday is a standalone event with no Xfinity or Truck Series races on the track this weekend, so NASCAR shouldn’t have to worry about schedule conflicts like the Cup race is delayed by the weather.
