Telling it like it is! Molly Sims shares the ups and downs of quarantine with three children during the coronavirus pandemic.
“They are putting me on the verge of insanity,” reveals the 47-year-old actress excluding Brooks, 8, Scarlett, 5, and Gray, 3, in the new issue of Us weekly. “I love them more than life, and then I want to kill them at the same time. But really, I cherish them. The days are long and the years are short. ‘
The Las Vegas alum, who shares her offspring with her husband Scott Stuber, continues that homeschooling “didn’t go well” and she fired herself “at least nine times.” Sims explains to us, “I’ve been drinking a lot, I won’t lie to you. I attended kindergarten upstairs and first class downstairs. I am a very practical mother. ‘
The Kentucky native was also hands-on in the kitchen, cooking what feels like “365 meals a week.”
Sims makes hanging out at home interesting for Brooks, Scarlett, and Gray with special days for wearing pajamas or rocking hair. “I’m really trying to make the most of it,” she says.
As for the parenting lessons she has learned since the spread of COVID-19 began, the Sports illustrated swimsuit model never realized that she had so much patience. “I’ve learned that I can handle a lot,” explains Sims U.S. “I learned that I am quite funny with my children. I tried to make [the pandemic] being the best experience I can give them and not looking back this time as a very, very, very difficult time. ‘
The jewelry designer has documented their activities through social media, from living room workouts to backyard campsites.
“Life has never been as perfect as it seems, I thank my lucky stars that I wake up every morning to these adorable little memories that my goal of being their mom has been life’s greatest gift to me,” she captioned a Mother’s Day Instagram selfie. “I’m so thankful that these 3 and Stuber made this morning as special as it was for me.”
