Yesterday, Greggs delighted fans by announcing when the beloved festive bake will return to the shelves.

But fans will have to wait another two weeks to get their hands on their cult Christmas classic Festive bake, which will also be available in a vegan version for the first time this year from November 22.

On this year’s Christmas menu, Greggs also offers a baguette with pigs under covers, sweet mince pies and Christmas luncheon soup, as well as a variety of festive drinks, all under £4 each.

Meanwhile, Subway is introducing a brie sub this year and has announced the return of its Tiger Pig Sub, which includes a giant pig in blanket, with the menu available in Subways restaurants from tomorrow until December 28.
