The menu changes every week depending on what customers like – and the items stick around longer if there is high demand.

The kitchen will also offer ‘Pastry Drops’, which are special flash creations that are only available for one day.

Other menu items include chicken with onion and mushroom tails, potato proscuitto with bechamel and Gruyère pies, freshly baked biscuits, and the shop’s signature pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat, and canelé.

For KOI’s signature desserts and cakes, customers can also find them at the recently reopened Chippendale store or Ryde Dessert Kitchen.

The Chippendale bar has received near-perfect reviews on Google, with thousands of satisfied customers saying they are obsessed with the menu items.

‘Heard a lot about this place…and oh boy, has it lived up to its hype. The desserts tasted as good as they looked – the fruit replicas were unlike anything I’ve ever seen because they looked so real. Everything was heavenly,” one man wrote.

Another said: ‘I loved the creativity of these desserts. What was hiding inside caused many surprises. Taste great too.’

While another said: ‘It’s expensive. It’s chic. It’s worth the hype. The dessert we got was well thought out. The individual parts went well together. It was perfection.’
