Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has insisted that “there is no update” regarding the current status of the midfielder’s contract at Manchester United.
The Frenchman’s current contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and he has yet to commit his future with the club, raising the possibility that he can leave for free in the summer.
If Pogba doesn’t agree to an extension before January, he will be allowed to discuss the terms and sign a pre-contract with a new club before moving in next summer.

He has seen the 29-year-old linked with transfers to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, while United are eager to keep the midfielder.
However, even with time running out, Raiola has claimed that there has been no movement in the discussions on a new deal and that there is no rush to do so at this time.
When asked about the talks on a new deal, Raiola said The times: ‘I’d have to ask Manchester United about it. At this moment everything is calm. There is no update. ‘
The powers that be at Old Trafford are eager to secure the Frenchman a new long-term deal, with a £ 400,000-a-week deal reportedly being put on the table.
The 29-year-old’s current contract at Old Trafford will expire at the end of the season.
His mood for a possible stay at the Red Devils has been encouraged by the recent arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, talks about his future continue and his recent dismissal in the humiliating 5-0 loss at home to Liverpool has reignited the rumors.
According to reports from ABC Earlier this month, Real are set to offer Pogba just under £ 12 million a year with a transfer bonus of just over £ 25 million to convince him to trade Old Trafford for the Bernabéu at the end of the season.
The Spanish media claims that Raiola is pushing for the deal to be reached and that Real hope to pair Pogba and Kylian Mbappé with their French teammate Karim Benzema.
While he has shone brightly on the international stage, Pogba’s second spell at Old Trafford has been marred by inconsistency and he has never managed to reach the heights he reached at Juventus.

Then later, he gets kicked out with a ridiculous tackle. You are now 5-0 down with 10 men. You would have to think, if Ole continues to coach there, will we ever see Pogba in the United jersey again?
It has caused chaos in recent years. Everyone knows the talent he has, everyone trusts him, all the coaches trust him, they tried to give him the head and let him be the player that he has been.

‘Look, it will probably play [again] Won the? But I don’t think they’re missing anything if he doesn’t.
‘He’s had numerous chances, he keeps saying he’s lacking consistency, but that’s just [a lack of] discipline and lack of respect for his coach and his teammates, which he did today. ‘
