Beth Mead, Lucy Bronze and Millie Bright have each been nominated for the Women’s Ballon d’Or Prize, having taken England to Euro 2022 glory last month.
The Lionesses join an illustrious shortlist of 20, including Barcelona star Alexia Putellas, Chelsea striker Sam Kerr and Arsenal forward Vivianne Miedema.
The Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place on October 17 in Paris, two months earlier than the conventional date.
