Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has received injury reinforcement ahead of this weekend’s clash with Brighton.
Midfielder duo James Milner and Naby Keita were forced to retire injured in the Reds’ sensational 5-0 win over bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Milner suffered a hamstring injury in the first half, while Keita, whose Liverpool career has been ruined by injury setbacks, was stretched out after a terrible two-footed tackle from Paul Pogba.

Milner and Keita formed a three in midfield alongside captain Jordan Henderson with Curtis Jones replacing the injured Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain replacing Keita after he was on the receiving end of Pogba’s red card lunge.
Liverpool wiped out United after Keita overtook them in the first five minutes. Goals from Diogo Jota and two from Mohamed Salah brought them into halftime with four goals in favor.
