Jude Bellingham has dismissed claims that he is considering moving to Liverpool as the Borussia Dortmund youngster put an end to rumors of an Anfield trade on Twitter.
Former Premier League star Craig Hignett said on Monday he heard on “good authority” that 18-year-old Bellingham had decided to move to Liverpool from Dortmund next summer.
“I think I’ve listened to him with good authority and I can’t say where I’ve heard him from, but apparently he’s been saying he’s headed to Liverpool,” Hignett, a former Middlesbrough man, told BBC Radio Merseyside.

“If that’s January or if it’s the end of the season, I’m not sure yet, but I think I have good authority that it’s almost a certificate.”
Hignett’s comments intensified speculation linking the England international to a move to Anfield after Dortmund boss Sebastian Kehl confirmed Liverpool are one of the clubs that make up the former Birmingham star.
However, Bellingham has scoffed at ties to a German outing next summer, tweeting a GIF of himself hysterical while out with the Three Lions.

However, the youngster took to Twitter to amuse himself with the reports linking him to the Reds.
The 18-year-old is developing a reputation as the most popular young talent in world football due to his incredible performances with the Bundesliga team.
Dortmund sold Jadon Sancho to Manchester United for £ 73 million last summer, but Bellingham stepped up to the plate to help offset the goals and assists of his teammate in England.
Bellingham has scored three goals and provided six assists during 16 appearances thus far, including an incredible solo effort against Arminia Bielefeld.

Kehl has insisted that Dortmund have no plans to sell Bellingham, or any of their star players, anytime soon.
“He’s a Borussia Dortmund player and he’s still a Borussia Dortmund player,” he told Sport1. “There is a lot of interest around Jude Bellingham, not just in Liverpool.
‘It’s good that we talk about our players. It shows that we are doing something right. We can offer a lot at Borussia Dortmund. We want to win titles, but we have to keep the guys for that. ‘
