Liverpool have joined Arsenal in the race for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, reportedly with Jurgen Klopp liking the Serbian outcast.
Jovic is going through a difficult time in the Spanish capital, having scored just twice in 38 appearances since moving from Eintracht Frankfurt for £ 50 million in 2019.
The Reds, meanwhile, have forward options in Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota, who have scored ten goals between them so far this season, while Divock Origi is another No. 9 option.

But according to Fichajes.netLiverpool manager Klopp has requested that his club have an offer for Jovic to reinforce their attack line.
The same publication claimed earlier this month that Arsenal are monitoring the situation of the Real Madrid forward in order to line him up as the long-term replacement for Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette’s contract at Emirates Stadium ends at the end of this season and he had a difficult start to the campaign, but is enjoying a purple patch of form for the Gunners who have re-established themselves in the starting lineup.
Jovic is back at Real after spending the second half of last season on loan in Frankfurt, although he showed little sign of resurrecting his previous form in Germany.

The forward arrived in the Spanish capital after scoring 27 goals in 48 games during the 2018-19 season with the German team, but only two goals during his first season in the Spanish capital saw him returned on loan during his second term. .
The Serbian forward scored four goals last season in the Bundesliga, although two of them came in his first game against Schalke, and the other two in 17 games.
Jovic has played six times for Carlo Ancelotti’s Real this season, but has yet to find the net in any of them, with Karim Benzema being the main forward for Los Blancos.
The forward has been an unused substitute in Real Madrid’s last two LaLiga matches, while he missed the previous two against Barcelona and Shakhtar Donetsk through injury.
