Laura Tobin laughs during ITV prediction after ram carries her away while still alive

Laura Tobin learned firsthand why they say ‘never work with animals’ these days when a sheep carried her on its back while she was live in the air.

Tobin, 40, was feeding sheep at Bocketts Farm in Leatherhead, Surrey, as part of an autumn weather report for Good Morning Britain when the hilarious moment happened.

As she began the forecast confidently, the weatherwoman struggled to keep her cool when a ram stepped between her legs and carried her sideways on his back for an impromptu ride.

Laura battled a fit of giggles as GMB presenters Richard Madeley and Ranvir Singh looked on in amusement as viewers said the hilarious moment “made their morning”.

Wearing a pumpkin sweater and a black and white miniskirt, Laura started out confidently.

The weatherwoman gave her forecast while feeding sheep in one of the farm fences.

“There’s never ‘baaaaad’ weather, just the wrong clothes,” she said.

‘Not looking bad this morning, I’m at Bocketts Farm and this week. It’s semi-annually, whether you go to farms, whether you go to pumpkin fields, or whether you just go outside to get some fresh air, the weather is looking pretty changeable this week over the next few days,” she said.

Throughout the prophecy, Laura took grains from a bucket and fed them to the flock of sheep.

As she continued her segment, one of the rams behind her gave her a nudge, but Laura ignored it and continued talking.

As she spoke, the presenter continued to feed the very enthusiastic pack of rams around her.

A particularly playful ram didn’t seem to care that Laura was on live TV, and stepped behind her.

The presenter screamed as the mischievous animal stepped between her legs from behind.

Laura had no choice but to interrupt her prediction as the sheep carried her sideways on his back.

Between laughs, Laura said, “Sorry, I didn’t expect to ride a sheep,” as the sheep carried her away.

Laughing hysterically, the mother-of-one managed to jump off her ride as the sheep coolly walked away from the shot, but she struggled to rally herself for the rest of the segment.

In fact, Laura laughed so hard that she struggled to make out understandable sentences.

Her hilarity was infectious and the camera showed that Richard and Ranvir were also laughing in the studio, where they had watched the scene unfold.

“You’ve done a good job of ‘sheep art’ here,” Richard joked, as Ranvir laughed and shook her head.

“It just appeared between my legs and suddenly I got a ride on a sheep,” Laura said, recovering from her emotions.

Laura, a true professional, regained her composure and resumed feeding the sheep when she was done with the segment.

‘Brilliant, saw it live,’ said one.

“That’s not part of the attraction here at Bocketts Farm, you can feed them, but you can’t ride them,” she said, going back to feeding the sheep.

The moment let viewers down, with some saying it “made their day.”

“Never work with children or animals,” one joked.

“Brilliant,” said another.

“Laura professional, she didn’t stop, it was funny,” said one.

“It made my morning to see this,” someone said.
