Kyrie Irving and Dennis Schroder ejected: Lakers got victory over Nets
At Barclays Center, the nine-game home winning streak of Brooklyn’s came to an end with a 126-101 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night. This was the third home loss over 21 games since Jan. 12 for the 36-17 Nets.
The things didn’t come easy despite the absence of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers were also without Kyle Kuzma (left calf strain), Marc Gasol (left hamstring tightness), and Wesley Matthews (right Achilles tendon tightness). Dennis Schroder hit for 19 points in the first half and Andre Drummond had 11 points and 8 rebounds a near double-double.
Kyrie Irving and Dennis Schroder were both ejected after getting into it during the third quarter. Kevin Durant returned after a hamstring injury scored 22 points in his second game back following a 23-game absence.
