Jamie Carragher saw the funny side after being caught doing a Google search for fellow Champions League expert Maurice Edu.

The former Liverpool defender was seen checking Edu’s Wikipedia page on his iPad as the pair sat in the studio Wednesday night.

Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards, who also appeared on CBS Sports, took photos of Carragher in search of information on the American, who played for the Rangers from 2008-12.

When Carragher was called out for the bug live on air, he was candid when Richards laughed hilariously.

When asked about his quick search for Edu, Carragher said, ‘Yeah, I googled it (Edu) before I came in, did you put me on camera?

‘Attention to details.’

The former international midfielder for Rangers and the United States, who won 46 caps, also saw the funny side.

He joked: ‘Cheers to that brother, cheers! Hey, you came prepared!

Edu made his only Premier League appearance as a substitute in the 80th minute for Stoke against Liverpool in 2012, when Carragher was also on the bench.

Carragher saw Liverpool clinch a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp’s men booked their place in the round of 16.
