Jaguars’ Gardner Minshew offers a unique explanation for warding off the corona virus

Coronavirus cannot contain Minshew Mania.

The second year of Jags QB was placed on the NFL’s COVID-19 list a few days ago, jeopardizing the start of his season. Well, things changed quickly and now Minshew is off the list and ready to play.

Some wondered how that happened, and during a media interview on Tuesday, Minshew clarified what exactly happened to the corona virus and how he managed to avoid it:

The NFL’s coronavirus policy prescribes that players who: 1) test positive for the virus or; 2) Have come in contact with others who put COVID-19 on their reserve / COVID-19 list while they were being tested to ensure that the player does not have the virus. Apparently Minshew did not test positive for the virus when he returned so soon.

So this remedy might work for Gardner Minshew, but you honest reader are not Gardner Minshew. So, a friendly reminder: please wash your hands, wear a mask and keep your distance from others, the best advice the CDC has to offer.
