It’s groundhog day for J. J. Abrams as HBO cancels two more planned projects

JJ Abrams has seen two more projects dropped by HBO Max, the latest in a string of setbacks for the producer/director.

Deadline reports (opens in new tab) that the shows HBO has passed on are a Constantine series, a new version of the DC character that Abrams worked on with British writer Guy Bolton, and Madame X, a supernatural series featuring the DC Comics clairvoyant of the same name.
