Irs Jones, who married an Egyptian toyboy, 36, reveals she will be moving to Egypt

A British grandmother who shocked This Morning viewers when she shared graphic details of her sexual antics with her Egyptian boyfriend who was 46 years her junior has revealed she was kept separated from him until ‘death’.

Iris Jones, 82, of Weston-super-Mare, has vowed to move to Egypt to spend a year with her husband, Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham, 36, if his visa application is rejected.

Iris, who met Mohamed on Facebook in 2019 before flying to Egypt to be with him before marrying in November 2020, described her “incredible” heartbreak as the pandemic keeps the couple apart as they wait at the home office to decide whether he will be allowed to move to Great Britain.

The couple’s relationship came into the limelight last year when Iris went on ITV’s This Morning to discuss the huge age difference and eventually revealed details of their sex lives.

Speak with The sun about how much she misses her husband, Iris said, “The grief is unbelievable. All we’re talking about now is what will happen when we meet.

“If he didn’t get a visa, it would feel like the end of the world. It’s like he’s dead, but he’s not dead – he’s just missing.’

She added: ‘I don’t have age on my side. I could drop dead tomorrow. Every day is precious. It’s bloody awful to be apart.’

The Interior Ministry told This Morning that they would have a decision on Mohammed’s visa on Nov. 4.

She denied she’s a ‘stupid old biddy who gets taken advantage of’, arguing she’s ‘not the type of woman to get ripped off’ and that she ‘has no money’ – explaining that they split all their expenses 50 /50.

As their one-year anniversary approaches, Iris – who hasn’t seen Mohamed since December 2020 – added that she is “entrusting him with her life”, and that she is willing to move to Egypt if his application is rejected, adding: ‘Nothing will keep me and Mohamed apart.’

Iris made hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield blush after admitting that their first night of passion, which included a ‘whole tube of KY jelly’, had left Iris ‘saddle sore’.

When she appeared on the show last month, she told Holly and Phil, “My skin is very thin. It’s like tissue. Mohamed has to be careful when he grabs me because he tears my skin.

‘The skin on my legs is very thin. When it comes to making love, it can be painful. I could end up in the emergency room with skin tears.

‘But we solved that problem by doing the doggy fashion. Love Hurts.’.

Giggling with Holly host Phillip added: ‘Love finds a way’.

Iris first started a conversation with Cairo-born Mohamed in the summer of 2019 on a Facebook group that explored atheism.

He initially declared his love for her via social media, then said his feelings were confirmed when he first saw Iris at the Cairo airport who November.

Speaking to MailOnline earlier this year, he recalled: “I was very nervous, but the moment I saw her, I knew it was true love. I was very lucky to have found such a woman.’

Mohamed worked as a welding inspector, but gave up his job to spend time with Iris when she came to Cairo.

He lives in a three-room house with his parents plus two sisters and a brother who are all younger than him, but vehemently denied being with Iris for her money or a passport to Britain.

As their one-year anniversary approaches, Iris – who hasn’t seen Mohamed since December 2020 – added that she is “entrusting him with her life”, and that she is willing to move to Egypt if his application is rejected, adding: ‘Nothing will keep me and Mohamed apart.’

Iris, a former cleaner, lives in a £220,000 bungalow and survives on a pension of £200 a week and disability benefits.

Mohamed said, ‘I don’t care where we live or how rich or poor she is, I just want to be with Iris. At the end of the day, which country she wants to make her home is her choice; it could be Great Britain or Egypt.

“People think I’m with her for the wrong reasons. I know Britain is a beautiful country and a lot of people want to go there, but it doesn’t bother me. I’m willing to live with her anywhere in the world.”

Mohamed revealed that he took Iris home for dinner during her visit to Egypt, where she spent time with his mother.

‘My mother really liked Iris and they got along well, even though there was a language problem. But my mother told me that if I’m happy, she’s happy too. That’s all a mother wants; that her son is with a woman he really loves.’
