Influencer Steph Claire Smith Admits Weaning Her Son’s Babysitters: ‘If It’s Their First Time Watching’
Steph Claire Smith made the bold confession on Wednesday that she secretly monitors her son Harvey’s babysitters.
The 28-year-old fitness influencer made the shocking confession on her KICPOD podcast, explaining that she uses her son’s baby monitor to covertly grade his babysitters.
She then took issue with her co-host Laura Henshaw, who called her behavior “spying” and claimed it was much more benign.

“Family and friends know I don’t spy. I check in. Mainly because I miss him and am jealous. If it’s their first time doing it, I’ll look,” she said.
Laura compared Steph’s sneaky behavior to Big Brother and the pair took to Instagram to ask their 1.5 million followers what they thought.
Many fans were quick to support Steph, admitting they were also “guilty” of the same behavior.

“I spoke on camera to let my father know that he had not put my son safely in the bed,” admitted one mother.
Another added that they secretly monitor their dog sitter to make sure their dog gets enough cuddles.
It comes after Steph recently revealed that she struggled with the guilt of being a working mom.

The Instagram star posted a photo of tears streaming down her face on social media, along with one of her holding her son Harvey, one she shares with husband Josh Miller.
‘Last night I collapsed, she started next to the statues.
“Mostly because of lack of sleep, but also because of the guilt, the feeling that I couldn’t be there 110% for Harvey because of the way I also have to appear in front of my team,” she wrote.
“If it’s their first time doing it, I’ll watch,” she said on her KICPOD podcast
