India coach Ravi Shastri admitted that his players are “physically and mentally exhausted” as the pre-tournament favorites ended their T20 World Cup campaign with a nine-wicket victory over Namibia.
India chased 133 with Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul half a century ago.
Ravindra Jadeja took three of 16 and Ravichandran Ashwin recorded three of 20 in Namibia’s 132 of eight. Shastri said: ‘The players need to rest now.

“It’s been six months in the bubble and ideally we would have liked a bigger gap between the IPL and the World Cup.”
