Ian Wright praised Marcus Rashford’s start to the season and said the Manchester United forward ‘looks reborn’ under Erik ten Hag.

Rashford scored twice in United’s 3-1 win over Arsenal on Sunday, meaning the England star has already scored three goals and provided two assists in six games this campaign.

This is a far cry from his struggles last year, when the 24-year-old was regularly left out of the team by interim boss Ralf Rangnick, delivering just four goals and two assists throughout the Premier League season.

And Arsenal favorite Wright was deeply impressed with how Rashford is currently playing.

He added: “I was very happy for Rashford because – it was the same as the Liverpool game – he is also one of those players who is quite defining in everything he does.

“If he misses that (first goal), it goes back to that place of real negativity. But what I’ve seen of him so far, especially in the last two goals he’s scored, is someone who thinks, ‘If I keep going, I’ll score.’
