How to make brownies with peanut butter and jelly
- 300 g butter
- 3/4 cup dark cocoa
- 2 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 150g Whittaker’s Peanut Butter & Jelly Block – 3 Rows Jelly & 3 Rows Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup Pic’s Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup boysenberry jam or jelly
Preheat oven to 160 degrees convection oven
Grease a baking tin and line a line (we used a 20 x 30 cm baking tin)
Melt the butter and cocoa. Once it has melted, add the brown sugar
Quickly beat in the eggs one by one
Mix in the flour and pour into the mold
Carefully cut the rows of Peanut Butter and Jelly block into individual squares (keep each half separate and make sure the filling stays in each square)
Alternating between jelly and peanut butter, push the squares evenly into the brownie so that the brownie batter coats each.
Spread the batter with the peanut butter and jelly. Run a small knife through the batter in vertical and horizontal lines until you get a swirling, marbled pattern
Bake for 30 minutes or until edges are firm
When cool, cut into squares

Whittaker’s co-Chief Operating Officer, Holly Whittaker, said this is the first time the company has incorporated two flavors into one block of chocolate.
“Whittaker’s Chocolate Lovers can enjoy the delicious taste of either the peanut butter or boysenberry jelly pieces, or stack them on top of each other to make their own peanut butter and jelly sandwich,” she said.
“With different flavors at each end of the block, there’s a fun element of discovery for those who like both flavors or their combination, or to share between people with different taste preferences.”
