A tidying and organization expert has shared her incredible pantry makeover, complete with wire shelves, plastic tubs, and airtight storage containers, for her celebrity client.

Sydney resident mom Anita Birges took to Instagram on Saturday to showcase her complete kitchen overhaul for Below Deck’s Hannah Ferrier using Elfa Australia’s unique shelves and Howard Storage solutions.

“We were chatting through our Instagram DMs and one of her followers introduced us. Hannah moved into her new home about four weeks ago, so it was time to refurbish her pantry,” Ms Birges told the Daily Mail Australia.

‘The house has great bones, but old storage. You couldn’t move in the pantry and nothing was adjustable. Things that worked in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s just don’t meet the needs of a family anymore.’

Hannah, who has a one-year-old daughter, was looking for a makeover that would allow her to have all her food, water, and vitamins in one place without having to fill smaller kitchen drawers with tins and tins.

‘The cabinets just had to be refurbished. I’ve used the wire rack because it’s very easy to clean and the brackets behind it allow me to chop and change the height however I want,” said Mrs Birges.

“I custom-made it so I can make it work in that space. If she ever moves to a new house, she can take these shelves with her too.

‘I took measurements the week before and then decided which organizational solutions I should look for. It was all installed in a day.

“The old pantry only used the back wall and Hannah had food in almost every cupboard in the house, including the den, so I used a lot of containers to make sure everything is in one place.”

The corner layout of the pantry prompted Mrs. Birges to use “lazy Susan’s” to show off some of Hannah’s staples in the pantry, as she used up the empty space next to the wire racks.

‘I ask all my customers what kind of cook they are, what they find important and make sure that the kitchen works organically with what they need to have on hand,’ says Ms Birges.

On Saturday, Ms Birges shared a before and after photo of Hannah’s pantry on Instagram, which drew a ‘thank you’ to the reality TV star’s comments.

“You know I love a great pantry makeover, each one is special in its own way, but some are particularly memorable,” the caption read.

“I waited in the wings for Hannah and her beautiful family to buy their first home so I could hang out in their pantry.

“When I first saw what I was dealing with, an understair, non-adjustable shelving ramp, I knew I had to put on my thinking cap and get to work.”

Hannah replied, “Thank you dear. You are so talented! I promise I will keep it in perfect condition!’

For those who want to have a pantry just like Hannah’s, Ms. Birges recommends waiting until you live in your new home for at least a month.

This gives the homeowner time to assess what he is actually using and where he needs it to get the most out of a product.
