“I showered, put on some real clothes, and I feel like a new woman,” said Rhoda. “I’m still in the hospital, Nash is at NICU. The cord was wrapped around his neck when he was born and so it was a bit of a dramatic birth. He had to sit on breathing tubes for a while and now he’s gone, but they’ll keep him there until tomorrow. ‘

While there were complications during childbirth, Rhoda said Nash is almost ready to come home.

“So he’s doing really well and he’s so cute. Just hang around here [and we’ll] bring him home tomorrow, “she said.

The 40-year-old Maryland and Avery resident, who tied the knot in 2015, welcomed Nash on Tuesday, July 28, after multiple miscarriages.

“Our boy entered this world quickly and furiously! H Nash Hollis Avery was born on July 28, 2020 at 12:04 p.m. ‘, she captioned a photo of herself with her little boy in her hand via Instagram.

Rhoda announced her pregnancy in January, along with a photo of her baby bump.

“It’s a boy,” the Sports illustrated swimsuit model wrote via Instagram at the time. “@Imseanavery and I are having a baby and we are so excited about this next chapter of life together.”

Avery described their struggles to conceive on a January episode of his podcast ‘No F-ks Given’, noting that they had a breakthrough when the former professional ice hockey player came home from a five-week movie role.

‘[Sex] there was no job, “he explained. “I haven’t seen my wife in five weeks. So we’re going to make love and what do you know? I got up and kissed my wife on her beautiful forehead and said, “My dear, you are pregnant. I guarantee you are pregnant. “… From the moment we take out the noise, science and methods – that’s how you make a baby in difficult times. ”
