Created by Google’s Facebook and Twitter pages have been updated with a new cover image. The image has a small cutout, probably a hint at the punch-hole display to be part of the Pixel 4a’s screen. The ‘lorem ipsum’ text highlights several references to photography such as ‘lowlightena’, ‘bokehus’ and ‘megapixelum’ in the company’s online store.

Google has shared a teaser in its online store, saying that “the Google exactly what you’ve been waiting for on phone” will be unveiled on August 3. The page was first noticed by 9to5Google and the message is not immediately available for reading. You have to tap on different boxes until the colors match the Google logo. Right now, while not all the details are certain, the Pixel 4a will cost $ 349, $ 50 less than what Apple charges for the iPhone SE 2020. In addition, it will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB storage, 12 MP camera and a 5.8-inch OLED screen.

The Pixel 4a has been in the rumor mill for a while and it seems like the perfect time to announce the device between the recently launched OnePlus Nord and Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. We will share more details as soon as we hear it.
