For the display, Fossil has opted for a 1.28-inch AMOLED panel with 416 x 416 pixels resolution, which translates to 326 pixels per inch. The interface will be similar to that of other watches of the company, since the operating system is Wear OS.

And speaking of the operating system, Fossil promises that by 2022 its watch will be updated to Wear OS 3. To date, the only watch that has this version of the operating system is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4So it’s good news to see brands start announcing their upgrade plans.

With Wear OS, the device you will be able to access the Google Play Store and the entire ecosystem of Google applications, such as Google Maps. Giving life to this OS is responsible for 1 GB of RAM and the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor. The main difference between the Wear 4100+ and the Wear 4100 is that the former has a coprocessor to carry out tasks that require less power.

In terms of sensors, the watch incorporates an improved PPG heart rate sensor, according to Fossil; a sensor SpO2 to know the level of oxygen in the blood and a integrated GPS chip, something interesting for outdoor sports.

The company has not disclosed the battery capacity of its watch, but ensures that it is capable of offering between one and three days of autonomy according to the management mode we choose. This is one of the most remarkable features of Fossil watches, the different energy saving options. Also note that it has fast charging and that, according to the company, charges to 80% in half an hour.
