One of the largest international lumberjack gatherings takes place each July at the Lumberjack Bowl in Hayward, Wisconsin. Expect live music, food trucks, lumberjack games, and 24 professional events, including ax throwing, chainsaws, log rolling, and climbing 90-foot cedar poles before heading back down to earth.

Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show & Adventure Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is near Dollywood, Dolly Parton’s amusement park in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The Stihl Timbersports Championships have taken this tradition to a world stage. Athletes, teams, and novices compete in extreme diving contests.
